From fast peak control to gradual optical levelling. Choose a model, then shape its response.

FET

Fast peak control with selectable ratios, an All mode, two amplifier revisions and optional analog hum.

Opto

Optical levelling with Peak Reduction, make-up Gain, high-frequency emphasis and Compress or Limit modes.

Tube

A softer optical response with tube colour and a release that adapts to sustained compression.

Studio

Set threshold, ratio, attack, release and make-up gain. ARC, Opto and Warm switches change the release and colour.

Vocal

Level a vocal with Comp, Gate, Gain and Recovery controls. Automatic make-up gain adds density; Gain sets the level before shared Mix and Trim.

Shared controls

Blend with the latency-aligned dry signal, trim the output and route an external sidechain. Each model retains its own settings.

Listen in context and match the output level.

Start with Punchy Vocal, Steady Opto or Smooth Tube. Adjust the main control until the gain-reduction meter shows the response you want, then match the output level. Use Mix for parallel compression and compare models at similar loudness.
